Cybersecurity risk management firm Brinqa Inc. has unveiled new capabilities aimed at streamlining the adoption of modern vulnerability management best practices. The company introduced a “Risk Operations Center” that enables organizations to proactively reduce threat exposures across cloud, infrastructure, and application security programs.
According to Brinqa, the traditional approach to cybersecurity has been reactive, with Security Operations Centers responding to attacks after they occur. By focusing on known vulnerabilities and understanding which ones pose the most risk, the Risk Operations Center aims to help organizations prevent breaches before they happen.
The Brinqa Platform, which powers the Risk Operations Center, utilizes a “Cyber Risk Graph” to prioritize, remediate, and report on risk by unifying security findings with business and threat data. The new capabilities promise quick time to value, with customers able to see initial results in as little as 90 days.
In addition to enhancing the user experience with a major update, Brinqa has introduced new analytics infrastructure to process security data in real-time and support more advanced risk analytics capabilities. CEO Amad Fida emphasized the importance of having a central hub for security findings across different programs.
Brinqa, a venture capital-funded startup that has raised $110 million, is focused on providing organizations with the technology needed to scale and manage security risks effectively. Investors in the company include Insight Partners Inc.
