Kaavalan, a Dublin cybersecurity business, is gearing up to launch the commercial version of its software this year after raising €600,000 in funding. Founded by Vinodh Kumar Balaraman and Upasana Prakash Hemdev in 2024, the firm is focused on providing security related to IP addresses.
“Our technology collects and analyses technical information about IPs worldwide to detect potential cyber threats in advance,” Balaraman told the Business Post. “We are also offering a free tool for consumers to check rogue SMS messages from anywhere in the world.”
Supported by Enterprise Ireland, Kaavalan is working towards onboarding 100 clients in Ireland over the next 18 months and has plans to expand into Europe and the US. With high hopes for the future, Balaraman aims to establish Kaavalan as a top brand in threat intelligence.
