Welcome to the ECHO’s Everton FC live blog for Thursday, October 12. With not much Premier League action happening, there’s plenty of room for speculation. The upcoming Merseyside derby against Liverpool on October 21 has fans buzzing, and in the meantime, there are a few interesting names popping up.
According to a report from Brazil, a proposal has been sent to Corinthians to sign the highly-rated 18-year-old striker Wesley. Meanwhile, in Germany, Niclas Fullkrug has explained why he decided to stay in his homeland instead of making a move to the Premier League, where Everton were supposedly interested. There are also rumors of contact being made to strike a deal for Nurnberg’s Can Uzun.
And let’s not forget about the ongoing proposed takeover of Everton. The ECHO will keep you updated on all the latest details surrounding 777 Partners’ deal with Farhad Moshiri.
