Evolve Business Group, a Wigan-based specialist in managed network and IT services, is gearing up for expansion and acquisitions following a significant investment from BGF. The company, founded in 2005, has seen impressive growth in recent years and is now set to double its turnover over the next three years.
With the backing of BGF, Evolve Business Group is eyeing UK and international growth, with a particular focus on the US market. The company currently operates in the US fuel forecourt industry and is looking to expand into the quick service restaurant market.
In addition to pursuing acquisitions, Evolve Business Group plans to build a new warehouse in Wigan and increase its workforce by 40 percent. CEO Alan Stephenson-Brown expressed excitement about the investment and the opportunities it will unlock for the company.
BGF investors Pinesh Mehta and Josh Bean led the deal, with Adrian Thirkill, Chief Executive of former BGF-backed business GCI, joining Evolve’s board as non-executive chair. Mehta praised Evolve’s strong track record and experienced management team, highlighting the company’s potential for further growth.
Overall, the investment from BGF represents a strategic step forward for Evolve Business Group as it continues to innovate in the industry and deliver value to its stakeholders.
