Welcome to our Liverpool transfer blog for Thursday, June 29! We have some exciting updates for you today.
Liverpool is currently exploring options for their midfield rebuild and one player they are looking into is RB Leipzig’s Dominik Szoboszlai. The Hungarian captain has been making waves in the Bundesliga since joining Leipzig from Red Bull Salzburg two years ago. Liverpool recently had a meeting with Szoboszlai’s representatives from EM Sports Management in Hungary, as they continue to assess what is possible this summer. It’s an exciting prospect for the club, especially after signing Alexis Mac Allister from Brighton & Hove Albion earlier this month.
In other news, it seems that Arsenal is on the verge of signing their top target, Declan Rice. The Gunners have reportedly agreed in principle to a deal worth £105m with West Ham. According to the Daily Mail, Arsenal’s offer includes spreading the guaranteed portion of the fee over four years. This could be a significant signing for Arsenal and fans will be eagerly awaiting further updates.
