Air IT Completes Acquisition, Expands into Yorkshire and the North East
Private equity-backed managed IT services provider, Air IT, has successfully acquired a counterpart in a recent deal. The company, based in Nottingham, has expanded its reach into Yorkshire and the North East with the acquisition of Vital Technology Group Ltd, an IT service provider founded by Lee Evans in 2006.
With this expansion, Air IT now boasts a total of eight offices nationwide and dedicated local teams. Vital’s existing team and premises will form a new regional hub covering Leeds, Yorkshire, and the wider North East region.
The acquisition has also significantly increased Air IT’s workforce, with a combined headcount approaching 500 employees. James Steventon, the CEO of Air IT, expressed his delight at welcoming Vital to the company, highlighting their shared approach, culture, and commitment to delivering exceptional service to clients. He also emphasized the value of Vital’s expertise in Microsoft cloud solutions, which will further enhance Air IT’s capabilities.
