Welcome to our Everton live-blog for Wednesday, August 9! We have some exciting updates for you regarding the Blues’ upcoming Premier League action. Let’s dive right in!
First up, there are reports suggesting that Amadou Onana might be involved in Everton’s pursuit of Manchester United defender Harry Maguire. It seems Onana could be used as a makeweight in the deal. Interesting development, isn’t it?
On another note, there have been claims that Idrissa Gana Gueye has received an approach from Saudi Arabia. However, these reports have been dismissed. Looks like Gueye will be staying put for now.
Looking ahead to the weekend, Fulham will be visiting Goodison Park on Saturday. Sean Dyche, the manager, will be hoping that the arrival of Youssef Chermiti is completed before then. Exciting times for the team!
