Liverpool received a double blow in the transfer market on Monday. First, there were reports that Romeo Lavia prefers to join Chelsea instead of Liverpool. And later, Chelsea announced the signing of Moises Caicedo, another player Liverpool had their eyes on.
These snubs from two midfield targets have left the Reds with a major problem as we head into the final weeks of the transfer window. It seems like we’ll need to find a solution out of thin air.
One potential option is Tyler Adams, a defensive midfielder who is still available in the Premier League. However, there’s a chance he could end up playing against Liverpool this Saturday if Bournemouth meets his £20m release clause.
