Caylent, ControlUp, LightRiver, Salesforce, CloudWerx, Cisco, ServiceNow, and SentinelOne were among the tech companies that made executive hires in August 2023. New CEOs were appointed at Caylent, ControlUP, and LightRiver, while Salesforce welcomed a new chief revenue officer and CloudWerx hired a new chief information officer. The list of executives hired last month includes Lori Williams, Jed Ayres, Mike Jonas, Miguel Milano, and Munish Gupta. In addition to these hires, Cisco, ServiceNow, and SentinelOne also made executive appointments during the month to strengthen their sales, technology, and partner resources.
Despite the challenging economic climate with growing inflation and tightening IT budgets, these tech giants continue to invest in their workforce. Several other tech companies have recently announced layoffs, including SkyKick, Secureworks, Dell, Rapid7, Intel, Malwarebytes, and HackerOne.
