David Smith, CEO, and Gareth Leece, COO, have successfully completed a management buyout (MBO) of Dynamic Networks, with the assistance of Paul Landsman from Kingland Capital. The MBO will lead to a simplified board structure, allowing for the company’s continued growth strategy.
Thanks to the additional investment from Kingland Capital, the management team now has a significant fund to hire industry professionals who share their vision. This will support their hiring plan and enable the business to acquire complementary cloud managed service providers.
Dynamic Networks, based in Leeds, specializes in delivering cloud-led managed IT support, digital transformation services, cyber security, and connectivity to SMEs. Smith expressed his excitement about the investment, stating that it will allow the company to meet the demanding needs of SMEs and continue growing both organically and through acquisitions.
Leece, one of the company’s founding members, expressed his pride in Dynamic’s achievements and the talented individuals within the business. He believes that this new chapter will enable them to offer an extended range of services to existing customers and looks forward to welcoming new customers on their digital transformation journeys.
In addition, Eddie Buxton, former CEO of Maintel plc, will join Dynamic Networks as chairman. Landsman expressed his enthusiasm for supporting David and his management team, along with Eddie, in what he considers one of the highest quality cloud managed services businesses in the UK.
Overall, this MBO marks an exciting milestone for Dynamic Networks as they continue to expand their services and support SMEs in their digital transformation efforts.
