The IT Managed Services provider has been nominated for Best Apprentice Employer (SME), with two team members also up for individual awards.
Marketing Assistant, Ellis Batchelor, is a nominee for the IT Apprentice of the Year award, while Operations Manager Louise Bushall is in the running for the Rising Star Award.
The awards ceremony, PETA’s biggest event of the year, will take place at Portsmouth Guildhall on June 28.
Both Ellis and Louise started their apprenticeships with PETA Learning before joining Matrix IT, where they have become key players in the company.
Louise shared, “My role has been varied and fulfilling from the start. Matrix supported me throughout my apprenticeship and offered me a permanent position. Now as Operations Manager, I am part of a team that has helped Matrix expand beyond our expectations.”
For Ellis, the move to the IT sector was a welcome change from retail. She said, “Before Matrix, I had no clear career path. But during my time here, I discovered my passion for Marketing, something I never would have considered before, especially in the IT sector.”
