In a recent survey conducted as part of the CRN MSP 500 project, top managed service provider executives shared insights on the fastest-growing IT services in 2023. The demand for cybersecurity services, including managed security tools and employee security threat awareness training, has skyrocketed due to the increasing number of cyber threats like ransomware and phishing attacks.
Apart from cybersecurity, other services experiencing significant growth include cloud migration, application modernization (especially Microsoft Azure), data management and analytics, managed SD-WAN, RPA and workload automation, and device-as-a-service. Traditional services like outsourced help desk and backup/disaster recovery also continue to be in demand.
Executives from various companies highlighted their fastest-growing services, such as end user security awareness training, managed network services, managed detection and response services, hybrid work and converged communications, disaster recovery as a service (DRaaS), business transformation, managed ServiceNow and Salesforce, data and analytics, intelligent automation (RPA), cognitive services, colocation, private cloud hosting, secure and redundant data backups, managed Microsoft 365 and SD-WAN, network and hybrid cloud solutions, threat detection and response solutions, and virtual information security office.
Overall, the industry is witnessing a surge in demand for a wide range of IT services, reflecting the evolving needs of businesses in today’s digital landscape.
