Novuna Vehicle Solutions has bounced back in 2024, reclaiming the title of leasing company of the year (more than 20,000 vehicles) at the Fleet News Awards, sponsored by Jaama. Managing director Jon Lawes expressed his pride in the Novuna team for their hard work and dedication, stating that winning the award is a great motivator for current and future colleagues.
The company’s success comes after a successful year in the UK, with a significant increase in car and van customers. Novuna’s emphasis on fleets prioritizing compliance and uptime, such as those in home delivery, utilities, infrastructure, and the public sector, has contributed to its growth.
In addition to its vehicle fleet, Novuna also manages 300 chargers across client workplaces, with plans to expand to 1,000. The company’s commitment to sustainability solutions extends beyond vehicles, with a focus on managing chargers like any other asset to ensure uptime and service efficiency.
Novuna’s innovative approach includes creating shared charging networks and exploring alternative fuel options such as hydrogen for heavy goods vehicles. Lawes emphasized the importance of collaboration with the government to make electric vehicles accessible to all parts of society.
Despite challenges such as declining residual values for electric cars, Novuna remains committed to its vision of decarbonizing its fleet by 2030. The company’s dedication to customer satisfaction is evident through initiatives like the ‘Voice of the Customer’ program, which aims to continuously improve service quality and efficiency.
Novuna’s success in the leasing industry reflects its strategic focus on sustainability, customer experience, and digitalization, positioning the company as a leader in the transition to electric and alternative fuel vehicles.
