Assured Data Protection (Assured), a Leeds-based MSP specializing in cloud data protection solutions, has announced the launch of its cyber recovery and fully managed backup services in the Middle East, in collaboration with Rubrik.
To support this expansion, Assured has formed a strategic distribution partnership with Mindware, a Dubai-based VAD operating in the Middle East and Africa. This partnership aims to offer backup and cyber recovery capabilities as a managed service to partners and companies in the region.
The move comes in response to the increasing demand among Middle Eastern organizations for channel support in navigating data sovereignty regulations, privacy laws, disaster recovery, and immutable backup requirements. New datacentres will be established to address data sovereignty issues and enhance operational efficiency and security.
This development follows Assured’s recent joint venture with Rubrik to launch in Latin America, demonstrating the company’s commitment to global expansion.
Rob Mackle, EMEA managing director at Assured, expressed excitement about the company’s growth plans for 2024 and beyond. New customers and partners of Assured will benefit from Rubrik’s zero-trust data security and security cloud solutions, which help organizations build resilience against cyber threats.
Ehab Adel, business unit manager at Mindware, highlighted the flexibility and cost-effectiveness of deploying Rubrik solutions through Assured. Ghazal Asif, VP of global channels & alliances at Rubrik, welcomed Assured’s expansion into the Middle East and its partnership with Mindware.
