A Shrewsbury-based managed IT service provider is celebrating a record-breaking year. With 24 years of experience under their belt, the company has seen a 24% increase in turnover in the past year.
The team at Start Tech has been recognized with several prestigious awards over the last 12 months, including the ‘UK & Ireland Solution Provider Spotlight Award’ and the Pax8 Beyond Partner Award in the ‘EMEA Peak Performance – Security’ category. They were also named one of Britain’s 50 Best Managed IT Companies and took home the MSP Titan of the Industry (EMEA) award in Los Angeles.
In addition to their accolades, Start Tech has expanded their team by hiring five new staff members this year and supporting apprenticeships. They have even welcomed their first T Level Student from Shrewsbury Colleges Group.
Recent promotions within the company include Jordon Tipper being appointed as Operations Director and Kieran Jones taking on the role of Client Strategy & Professional Services Manager.
Managing Director Ian Groves expressed his excitement for the company’s growth and praised Jordon and Kieran for their contributions. He highlighted Jordon’s rapid rise within the company since joining as an apprentice in 2017 and emphasized Kieran’s new responsibilities in overseeing account management and internal project delivery.
Looking ahead to 2025, Start Tech is eager to continue expanding their client portfolio and building on the success of 2024.
