Tanko-Computer alleges that NPP manufactured their own pink sheets: Re-collated results - MyJoyOnlineThe Deputy Director of Elections and IT of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Dr Rashid Tanko-Computer, has raised concerns about the recent parliamentary results declared in favor of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) by the Electoral Commission (EC).

According to Dr Tanko-Computer, the NPP allegedly fabricated their pink sheets for the contested constituencies of Okaikwei Central, Tema Central, and Techiman South. He expressed his disagreement with the results from the re-collation exercise conducted at the EC office in Accra.

Dr Tanko-Computer claimed that the NPP manufactured their own pink sheets and submitted them to the EC for declaration, questioning the authenticity of the numbers presented. Despite the results showing victories for the NPP in these constituencies, he insisted that the NDC has its own figures reflecting the true outcome of the December 7 polls.

While emphasizing respect for the legal process, Dr Tanko-Computer mentioned that the NDC’s legal team is prepared to address the discrepancies in the declared results. He also highlighted that the re-collation exercise for Ablekuma North was suspended due to challenges in re-collating results from some polling stations.

Overall, the NDC remains committed to following the appropriate procedures and refraining from actions that could be detrimental in resolving the disputed constituencies.
