Logitech International has announced plans to buy back $2 billion worth of shares over the next three years, with an additional $600 million added to its current buyback program. The computer parts maker also confirmed its 2025 outlook, forecasting fiscal year 2026 sales to range from $4.53 billion to $4.71 billion, indicating potential growth of 1% to 3% in U.S. dollars.
The Swiss-American company, which experienced a sales surge during the pandemic lockdown, previously projected its 2025 sales to grow by 5.4% to 6.4%. Logitech raised its full-year forecast in late January, citing higher sales and profit for its important pre-holiday quarter.
At its investor day in San Jose, California, Logitech outlined its long-term goals of annual sales growth of 7% to 10%, with a non-GAAP gross margin above 40% and operating margin of 15% to 18%. CEO Hanneke Faber expressed confidence in the company’s market leadership and strategy to expand into new verticals and adjacencies, leveraging AI as a force multiplier.
After a pandemic-driven boom followed by a downturn, Logitech has returned to sales growth and is now focusing on expanding into areas such as education and healthcare to reach new consumer bases. The company also aims to sell more products directly to businesses in the future, with recent innovations including a computer mouse with a prompt builder button connecting users to AI platforms like ChatGPT.
Overall, Logitech is optimistic about its future growth prospects and remains committed to delivering value to its shareholders.
