In a recent survey conducted as part of the CRN MSP 500 project, top managed service provider executives were asked to identify the IT services that are experiencing the most growth this year. The results revealed a strong demand for cybersecurity services, driven by the increasing number of cybersecurity threats such as ransomware, phishing attacks, and data theft.
Many executives highlighted their cybersecurity offerings as the fastest-growing services, with a focus on technologies like managed detection and response tools, virtual security operations centers, and employee security threat awareness training. Additionally, other IT services that are seeing significant growth include cloud migration, application modernization (especially Microsoft Azure), data management and analytics, managed SD-WAN, RPA and workload automation, and device-as-a-service.
Executives from various companies shared their insights on the services that are driving growth for their organizations. For example, Kyle Kerns from ACES mentioned the increasing demand for end user security awareness and email phishing training campaigns. Vince Sciarra from Acuative highlighted the growth in managed network services, while Dave Siegel from All Lines Technology emphasized the exponential growth of their managed detection and response services.
