"IT Managed Services Investment Takes Center Stage as Deal of the Month Winner"

Arc Systems, a provider of cloud and IT managed services to UK businesses, has secured the backing of Beech Tree Private Equity, winning Deal of the Month. The Essex-based company, founded by James Clayden in 1992, is headquartered in Basildon and primarily operates in and around London and the South East. Its services include IT support, public and private cloud, security and back-up for UK SME and mid-market corporates.

The investment from Beech Tree will enable Arc to expand its capabilities, with a focus on its people and technical proposition. Beech Tree has a successful track record of investments in the sector, including Transparity, Ancoris, and BCN.

Partner Adam Rudd of Beech Tree said: “We are excited to be partnering with Arc and investing further into a sector that we know well. The strong relationships they have with their customers is a testament to how Arc delivers fantastic outcomes and support to mission-critical solutions for their customers. We are looking forward to supporting the Arc management team on an ambitious growth strategy.”

Advisers to Beech Tree included DLA for legal advice, with James Kerrigan, Chris Wilson, Sam Jones, and Jenni Entwisle on the team, as well as DSW for financial due diligence, with Ed Brentnall, Rob Parker, and Elliot Pledger. Arc was supported by Knights for legal advice, with David Easdown, David Hayes, Matthew Hitchen, and Klaudia Fusiek on the team.
