Cybersecurity risk management firm Brinqa Inc. has unveiled new capabilities aimed at streamlining the adoption of modern vulnerability management best practices. The company introduced a “Risk Operations Center” that allows organizations to proactively reduce threat exposures across cloud, infrastructure, and application security programs.
According to Brinqa, the traditional approach to cybersecurity has been reactive, with Security Operations Centers responding to attacks. By focusing on known vulnerabilities and understanding which ones pose the most risk, the Risk Operations Center aims to complement existing security investments and minimize the need for reactive responses.
The Brinqa Platform, which powers the Risk Operations Center, features a “Cyber Risk Graph” that integrates security findings with business and threat data for consistent risk prioritization and remediation. The new capabilities promise quick time to value, with customers able to see initial results in as little as 90 days.
In addition to enhancing user experience and data organization, Brinqa has also introduced new analytics infrastructure to process security datasets in real-time and support advanced risk analytics capabilities. CEO Amad Fida emphasized the importance of a central hub for security findings across different programs.
Brinqa, a venture capital-funded startup that has raised $110 million, is backed by investors including Insight Partners Inc. The company’s latest innovations aim to provide organizations with a comprehensive platform for managing cybersecurity risks effectively.
