With this setback, Liverpool will now have to shift their focus to other potential targets before the transfer window closes. One name that has been mentioned is Ibrahim Sangare from PSV Eindhoven, although there may be competition for his signature. Another intriguing prospect is Joao Palhinha from Fulham, who had an impressive debut season in the Premier League.
