Logicalis, the channel player, has announced enhancements to its Managed Data Fabric Platform in order to provide customers with improved managed services. The platform, which was launched last year, already has over 200 customers worldwide benefiting from insights on system performance, device management, and network risks.
The latest updates to the platform include a new user interface and an overall health score, allowing users to gain insights across their entire network and cloud environments. In addition, the platform will now offer high, medium, and low-impact recommendations to help generate savings and improve efficiencies.
Bob Bailkoski, CEO of Logicalis, expressed the company’s commitment to innovation in the managed services industry. He stated, “For the last 12 months or more, we’ve been trying to bring innovation to the managed services industry… The idea behind the platform was trying to bring innovation to the managed services world.”
Bailkoski highlighted that while availability is typically the key metric reported on in managed services, Logicalis aims to provide additional insights beyond basic availability status. He emphasized the privileged position the company holds with its customers and the potential to offer deeper intelligence and support in managing their environments.
The enhanced platform will not only provide efficiency and security insights but also offer customers a sustainability score. Bailkoski explained, “[The platform also] gives them a carbon footprint score, or a sustainability score, too… In addition to the availability piece, you get four additional metrics.”
By providing customers with these insights, Logicalis aims to help them better utilize technology, improve the health of their infrastructure, and deliver a superior user experience. The platform will enable CIOs to quickly identify priorities for actions that can bring real benefits to their environment.
