A computer technician recently found himself in hot water after police discovered a disturbing stash of child abuse images on his devices. Kevin Parr, who denied having a perverted interest in children, had nearly 1000 sick images and videos downloaded over seven years. The investigation was sparked by intelligence received about indecent images being uploaded on an instant messaging app. Despite his denial, Parr was sentenced to 10 months in prison, suspended for two years, and ordered to carry out rehabilitation and unpaid work. Judge Berkson noted that Parr’s denial was not convincing, calling it “faked denial.” It seems like Parr has some self-realization to do.
